Earlier in the morning with the help of brilliant all round performance Biratnagar Kings outplayed Dhangadi Team Chauraha by 23 runs. Winning the toss and fielding first Dhangadi restricted Biratnagar to 134 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Sarad Veswakar top scored for Biratnagar with 46 runs while Anil Shah contributed with 28 runs. Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi bagged 3 wickets for Dhangadi. In reply Dhangadi were restricted to to 111 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Amar Singh Routela top scored for Dhangadi with 26 runs while opener Anil Kumar Mandal contributed 24 runs. To restrict Dhangadi to 111 runs Sushil Kandel and Sharad Veswakar chipped in with 3 wickets each while Jitendra Mukihya and Dipendra Singh Airee picked up 2 and 1 wickets respectively. Sarad Veswakar was declared the player of the match for his brilliant all round performance.
In the second match of the day Kathmandu Goldens Defeated Kanchanpur Iconic by 24 runs.Deciding to bat first Kathmandu Goldens posted 147 runs on the board with the help of aggressive innings from Bhuvan Karki. Bhuvan scored 36 of 14 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. For Iconic Avinas Karn picked up 3 wickets while Kamal Singh Airee, Kushal Bhurtel, Sunil Dhamala and Sonu Tamang picked up 1 wicket each. Coming down to chase Kanchanupr Iconic top order batsman Sunil Dhamala ,Sagar Pun and Hasim Ansari started the innings Brilliantly. Sagar Pun made 40 while Dhamala and Anasri scored 14 and 18 respectively. Failure in middle order costed the game for Iconic as six middle order batsman contributed only 20 runs. Iconic were restricted to 129 for 9 wickets in their 20 0vers. To restrict Iconic to 129 Basant Regmi and Santosh Bhatta Picked up 2 wickets each while Manjeet Shrestha,Sompal Kami and Sandeep Jhora claimed 1 wicket each. Bhuvan Karki bolwed an economical spell in the midde as he only coincided 14 runs in his 4 overs spell. Bhuvan Karki was declared man of the match for his brilliant performance with both bat and bowl.
