GHCA all set to play in Bangladesh

Great Himalaya Cricket Academy (GHCA) is all set to participate in 10 th Sheikh Russel Shriti Cricket Tournament that will be held from 12 th to 20 th of January at Dinajpur, Bangladesh.

Eight clubs from Bangladesh and one each from Nepal and India will compete in the event. All teams will be divided into two pools and will play three matches each in the group stage, top two teams will qualify for the semi finals.

WaiWai will be the team sponsor of GHCA for this tour. Players, GHCA and sponsor will bear the cost of the tour.

GHCA squad for the event will be as follows Ishan Pandey (Captain), Pradeep Tandan, Raman Pokharel, Sushan Shrestha, Sandeep Goit, Rabi Kumar Shah, Md Alaz Mansoori, Anup Shrestha, Prashant Khatri, Bipin Upadhaya, Suman Humagain, Bishank Subedi, Sashwat Poudel, Rosesh Pandey, Deepak Bohara, Dipesh Poudel, Sunil Maharjan, Pritam Kc, Asutosh Ghiriya, Sagar Dhakal. Coach for the tour will be Sudeep Sharma and team Manager will be Suman Raj Karki.

Total of 20 players including junior and seniors will tour to Bangladesh. Juniors will play four practice matches with local acadamies and clubs on the rest days of the tournament. Junior
players will also have special training sessions under national level Bangladeshi coaches during the tour.

GHCA is travelling for the second time to Bangladesh after it's first tour in 2016. GHCA director Sudeep Sharma says," GHCA has organized this tour to provide international level exposure to our youngsters. We believe such tours will help them understand Cricket played in Test playing nations and will prepare them to compete in the higher level in near future. There will be so

many new and interesting things for our players to take back home after this tour. They will develop a completely new perspective and mindset to the game after this tour."

GHCA organized a farewell program today at Jeevan Vigyan Kendra, Chabahil. Touring team had a brief motivitaitonal meditation session at Jeevan Vigyan Kendra.

This program helped all the players understand the importance of focus and concentration in every aspect of life and they were given tips on how to achieve it through meditaion by founders and life coaches of Jeevan Vigyan Kendra LP Bhanu Sharma and Ramesh Nepal. GHCA team was given best wishes and given farewell jointly by Mr. LP Bhanu Sharma, Mr. Ramesh Nepal, Mr. A.K. Dwivedi Senior General Manager of CG Foods and Mr. Lal Babu Prasad AGM of CG foods.
