Tribhuwan Army Club won the Day 5’s match against Far Western Development Region after Day 4 was ended without result as the match was not possible to play required over due to rain.
After yesterday’s washout Nepal Nepal Police Club reached Semi final and Tribhuwan Army Club joined them after today’s brilliant win.
The surprising decision took by Far Western as the elected to bat first at TU ground and only managed 50 runs before getting all out. Thanks to the yorker specialist Jitendra Mukhiya whose outstanding six-for was enough to restrict Far Western in 50 runs.
He bowled full quota of 10 overs in a single spell and finished with 10 -3 -22 -6.
In reply, Sagar Pun and Anil Mandal scored 10 runs each and Binod Bhandari and Naresh Budhayer finished on unbeaten 21 and 6 runs respectively.
