Nepal women’s cricket team is set to face test nation Pakistan in the opening match of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup to be held in Thailand from 26th November to 4th December. India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and host Thailand will play Asian women’s team premier event alongside Nepal and Pakistan.
The event will feature 15 league matches followed by a final between the top two teams. The matches are set to be played in T20 format.
Nepal qualified for the tournament finishing 2nd in the recently held World Cup Qualifiers- Asia Region played in Hong Kong this October. In the previous edition of the tournament in 2011 which featured 8 teams Nepal crashed out of the league stage losing all its matches
Nepal faces Pakistan on 26th November, Sri Lanka on 28th November, Bangladesh on 29th and India on 2nd December. Full Schedule
