The tournament consists of eight teams with Nepal, Singapore, Thailand and Bhutan in Group A while host Malaysia along with China, Hong Kong and Myanmar are placed in Group B.
Top two teams from each group will enter into the semifinals that will be played on 16th of September and the winners will compete against each other in the final match that will be played on 17th of September at Kinara Oval. Winner of this ACC Eastern Region will be qualified for U-19 Asia Cup.
