Nepal is set to participate in the 8 team Emerging Team’s Cup in Bangladesh from March 25th 2017.  The tournament will see participation U-23 teams of test nations India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka Bangladesh and full side of associate teams Nepal, Afghanistan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

When ACC first revealed its 2017 calendar it was Nepal, Hong Kong, UAE and Afghanistan who supposed to participate in the tournament.  However a press release issued by ACC informed last week that Hong Kong and UAE had withdrawn from the tournament and also revealed that it would only be played by ODI teams thus eliminating Nepal.
