Padam’s Five help Ganodaya rout Masters

Ganodaya Cricket convincingly defeated Professional Masters-11 by 6 wickets thanks to a 5 wicket haul by Padam Khawas.The group B match of the A-Division Rupendehi Super League Cricket Tournament was played in Siddharta Stadium, Bairahawa.

Winning the toss and batting first Master were all out for 72 runs in 19.4 overs. Imran Khan top scored for Masters with 25 runs. Padam Khawas who was later adjudged player of the match bagged the first five wicket haul of the tournament. Bishnu Neupane bagged 3 wickets for the winning side.

In reply Ganodaya chased the target in 17.2 overs losing 4 wicets riding on unbeaten 21 runs from Nishant Sharma. Manish Poudel contributed with 21. Rahul Thapa bagged 2 wickets for Masters while Durga Sen and Nashif Ansari picked one wicket a piece.
