Paras Khadka and Mehboob Alam are set to play alongside Legendary Srilankan bowler Muttiah Muralidharan in Singapore Cricket Club International T-20 tournament to be held in Singapore from 11th to 13th of August.
Both Paras Khadka and Mehboob Alam will be playing for Singapore Emerging Star Team whereas the team featuring Muttiah Muralidharan is yet to be known.
Mehboob Alam disclosed his participation in the tournament this Friday via his Facebook . He also thanked former Singapore National Cricketer Dharmichand Mulewa for providing him the opportunity to take part in the tournament.
The tournament will feature 8 teams. Sydney Cricket Club and Melbourne Cricket Club from Australia, Rowlin Cricket Club from South Africa, Sinhalese Sports Club from Srilanka , Kowloon Cricket Club from Hong Kong, Madras Cricket Club from India as well as Singapore Emerging Star and Singapore Cricket Club from Singapore are the 8 teams featuring in the tournament.
Paras Khadka, who is presently in America reported to Kantipur that he’ll be playing for Singapore Emerging Star Team in this tournament.
Singapore Emerging Star Team facebook page revealed that Players from Associate nations and Singapore national team will feature in their team.
Singapore Cricket Club was established in 1852 A.D and Mr. Pushpendra Sahara is the president of the club. As per Singapore Cricket Club, the tournament has been cleared by the Singapore Cricket Association.
It has been said that 7 players from Hong Kong National team will be playing for Kowloon Cricket Club from Hong Kong which will present the likes of Waqas Barkat who will be captaining the side. Babar Hayat and Nizakat Khan alongside other Hong Kong players are participating in the tournament.
