Rain intervened and the match was shortened to 40 over’s with a revised target of 238 runs. The revised target means province 2 had to get almost 6 an over to reach the target. But it was not meant to be so as they could only manage 182 losing 9 wickets. Sompal Kami shone with the ball dismissing 3 key batsman in Kamal Singh Airee (0) , Mehaboob Alam (9)and Sanjam Regmi (0).

Despite Suraj Patel’s fighting knock of 48 towards the end of innings, they failed to reach the target by 55 runs. Medium Pacer Sompal Kami was declared the player of the match.
