President Bhandari to inaugurate South Asian Games

Nepal’s president Bidhyadevi Bhandari to inaugurate the 13th edition of South Asian Games at Dasharath Rangashala, Kathmandu.

Just after a week, Prez Bhandari will be presented for the three long hours’ opening ceremony in the only International football stadium as per the timing provided by National Sports Council (NSC). The tournament kick starts from December 1 to December 10.

13th edition of the biggest multi sport tournament in South Asia, will conduct in three different parts of the country; Kathmandu, Pokhara and Janakpur. A 10-day long tournament have settled in 26 different games after cancelling Paragliding due to no participating teams from other countries and more than three thousand players will participate from seven South Asian nations.

The tournament was inaugurated from Kathmandu in 1984 A.D and since then Nepal has been organizing for the third time this year. In between, the SAG was organised in Nepal in 1999.
