Sandeep Lamichhane listed in ALL OUT CRICKET’s Best Young Cricketers

UK based cricket website and monthly cricket magazine All Out Cricket has included Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane among the 30 top young cricketers in the world.

The 30 man list includes young cricketers across the globe who are 22 years or less.  Sandeep, 16 years in age is the youngest players and the only associate player among the 15 names revealed online. Lamichhane is included as number 30″NEXT : Yasir Shah”, reads the magazines introduction of Sandeep. The profile written by Benidict Gardner describes Sandeep as a spinner with all the tricks.

Sandeep had a stellar U19 World Cup. He was the second leading wicket taker of the tournament with 14 wickets including a 5 wickets haul and hattrick against Ireland. Sandeep made his debut for the national side on April last year against Namibia.

Sandeep was the only player from Nepal invited to be part of first edition of Hong Kong T20 Blitz where he played alongside former Australian skipper Micheal Clarke. Impressed by Sandeep’s skills and passion for cricket Clarke sponsored him to attend Micheal Clarke Academy and play for Western Suburbs. Sandeep spent a season playing for Western Suburbs in 2016.

The list includes Mohammad Nawaz(27) from Pakistan, Mosaddek Hussain(26) from Bandladesh, Sanju Samson(18) of India, and Lahiru Kumara(16) of Sri Lanka.The list is available here
