Surprise welcome for Sandeep Lamichhane in Australia

Former Australian captain Michael Clarke was himself present in the Sydney International Airport to receive young Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane on his arrival in Australia. Lamichhane is set to spend an entire season in Australia as he will represent local club Western Suburbs and train in the former captain’s academy in Sydney.

Clarke expressed his happiness on making his trip to the airport using the social networking site Twitter as he tweeted this.

Clarke was seen carrying a play card  with “Sandeep Lamichhane” written on it as he waited for the teenager’s arrival and once he welcomed him in the airport, he used Twitter to welcome him once again.

Clarke also posted a video  of the event where the duo hugged each other once they met and Clarke was observed asking him questions about his well-beings.

Earlier yesterday, Lamichhane departed for Australia at 1:00 pm Nepali Time. He will play his first match for the club alongside Clarke on 24th of September.
