After winning the toss and electing to bowl first, the Royals bowled out Pokhara Avengers for 68 in 12 overs.
Player of the Match Sompal Kami led the carnage with 3/8. Shrafuddin Ashraf picked 2/4 whereas Lalit Rajbanshi picked 2/6 in a stunning team bowling display. In reply, Janakpur Royals got home in 9 overs. Shrafuddin Ashraf scored 37 from 27 balls for the Royals. Kushal Malla picked 3/10 for the Avengers.
The Royals are now guaranteed the 2nd spot in the league table with 12 points and a Net Run Rate of +0.590. Lumbini All Stars have already sealed the 1st spot and will come against the Royals in Qualifier 1.
The Royals face Lumbini All Stars next on 6th January. The match is scheduled to start at 9 am. The match will not hold major significance as both sides have already qualified for the playoffs and will be facing each other in the Qualifier 1.
