Nepal won the match against PNG in ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 at Dubai Cricket Stadium (UAE), registering a victory over PNG by 4 wickets with 28 balls left.
The Nepali Cricket Team has won five consecutive ODI matches within this month. This is the first time in Nepali ODI history that they have won 5 consecutive matches against strong opponents.
Nepal chased the target and managed to score 207 with 1 wicket lost in 45.2 overs. Kushal Bhurtel was the top scorer for Nepal, scoring 56 off 69 balls, and Aasif Sheikh scored 44 runs in 39 balls.
Assad Vala took 3 wickets, while Norman Vanua and Sese Bau took 1 wicket each for PNG. PNG conceded 11 extra runs with 6 wides.
