Paras Khadka, the former captain of the Nepali National Cricket Team, has officially declared his candidacy for the position of Bagmati Province Chairman of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
During a press conference held in Kathmandu, Paras announced his intention to assume the role of Bagmati Province Chairman with the backing of four districts within Bagmati. He currently serves as a working committee member of the Kathmandu District Cricket Association.
The Presidents of the cricket associations in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, and Makwanpur districts have pledged their support to Paras.
Manish Raj Pandey, President of the Bhaktapur District Cricket Association, stated that, in discussions on enhancing the provincial structure, Khadka has emerged as a crucial figure, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
