Resham Bahadur KC has been elected as the president of Parbat District Cricket Association from the convention held on Thursday.
A working committee of 9 members including Sujan Sharma Poudel as vice president, Dipendra Sharma Lamichhane as secretary and Anish Shrestha as treasurer has been formed from the convention held under the presence of Gandaki Provincial Cricket Association President Devendra Prajoo.
In their first meeting, the newly elected PDCA members decided to conduct school level programs and age group U-16 and U-19 cricket tournaments in order to promote cricket in the district.
Parbat District Cricket Association was admitted as the 44th member of Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) in March of the previous year, at the CAN’s annual general meeting.
