The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has selected 22 players for a closed training session scheduled for today (Tuesday) in preparation for the women’s T20 series in Hong Kong. The tournament, which will take place in Hong Kong from November 15 to November 19, will feature teams from Nepal, the UAE, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
The chosen Nepali team includes the following players: Rubina Chhetri, Puja Mahato, Sita Rana Magar, Indu Barma, Bindu Rawal, Sangita Rai, Jyoti Pandey, and Roma Thapa. Additionally, Ishwori Bista, Samjhana Khadka, Rubi Poddar, Sabnam Rai, Kabita Joshi, Asmina Karmacharya, Khushi Dangol, Kritika Marasini, Kanchan Shrestha, Sony Pakhrin, Somu Bist, Apsari Beguam, Kajol Shrestha, and Manisha Chaudhary are part of the squad.
In an exciting development, two experienced Nepali cricketers, Rubina Chhetri and Sita Rana Magar, are set to participate as foreign players in Hong Kong’s domestic Women’s All Stars T20 tournament. This tournament will precede the four-nation T20 cricket series, commencing on November 24th.
