In the U-19 Asia Cup cricket, Nepal finds itself in a group alongside India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. The tournament is scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from December 8 to 18.
The eight participating teams have been divided into two groups. Nepal is placed in Group A with India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. The other group, Group B, consists of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Japan, and the UAE.
As per the match schedule released by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), Nepal’s first match will be against Pakistan on December 8 at the ICC Academy Oval-1 ground.
Nepal’s second match is set to be played against Afghanistan on December 10 at the ICC Academy Oval-2 ground, followed by the third match against India on December 12 at the ICC Academy Oval-2 ground.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals. The final match of the tournament is scheduled for December 17. Additionally, a month after the Asia Cup, Nepal will participate in the U-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka.
