On Wednesday, Paudel took to social media to thank Nepali cricket fans for their support at the T20 World Cup, which is being held jointly in the United States and the West Indies. He thanked the fans who were present at the match against the Netherlands in Dallas, USA, and the match against Sri Lanka, which was canceled due to rain on Wednesday.
“Thank you to our supporters who came out in large numbers to support us today and in Dallas,” Paudel wrote. “Your energy and support mean the world to us. The first game didn’t go our way.”
“We are moving forward with your enthusiasm,” he added.
Nepal has two more matches left to play in this edition of the World Cup. Both matches will be played in St. Vincent, West Indies.
Thank you to our incredible fans who came to cheer on us in huge numbers both today and in Dallas! Your energy was electric, and your support means the world to us. While the first game didn’t go our way, we’re moving forward with your enthusiasm fueling us.
