The Tasmanian Nepalese Premier League (TNPL) in Australia, which commenced on 21st September, has already brought excitement to the cricketing community.
Amrit Bhattarai, the former Nepal national cricketer and left-arm pacer who played in the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh, is captaining the VXL Stars. Their second match is set for Sunday, 29th September, against the Intact Titans at 9:00 AM, following their debut against Grace Dynamos.
The VXL Stars are owned by VXL Education Tasmania and co-sponsored by New Concept Finance. The team, featuring 16 players bought from auction, is one of the favorites in this T-20 format tournament, held at the Bagdad Community Oval in Hobart, Tasmania.

The tournament boasts a substantial cash prize pool , with $3,500 AUD awarded to the winning team. Individual awards include the Golden Bat and Golden Ball, each carrying a prize of $400 AUD, the Man of the Tournament with a prize of $600 AUD, and the Player of the Match for each game, receiving $200 AUD.
