CAN Releases Central Contracts for Men’s & Women’s Teams

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the annual central contracts for both men’s and women’s national teams. The contracts are categorized into different grades, ensuring financial support for Nepal’s top cricketers.


In the men’s team, Grade A includes Rohit Paudel, Dipendra Airee, Sandeep Lamichhane, Sompal Kami, and Aasif Sheikh. They will receive Rs 1,00,000 per month.

Grade B features Karan KC, Kushal Bhurtel, Gulshan Jha, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Anil Sah. They will earn Rs 70,000 per month.

Grade C consists of Sundeep Jora, Aarif Sheikh, Bhim Sharki, and Kushal Malla, with a salary of Rs 55,000 per month.

Grade D includes Sagar Dhakal, Lokesh Bam, Sahab Alam, Akash Chand, and others. Their monthly salary is Rs 35,000.

The Emerging category features young talents like Arjun Gharti, Hemant Dhami, Dipesh Kandel, and Rupesh Singh. They will receive Rs 25,000 per month.


For the women’s team, Grade A players are Indu Barma, Puja Mahato, Rubina Chhetri, and Sita Rana Magar. They will be paid Rs 50,000 per month.

Grade B has only one player, Kabita Joshi, who will receive Rs 35,000 per month.

In Grade C, Kabita Kuwar and Samjhana Khadka will earn Rs 25,000 per month.

Grade D includes Bindu Rawal, Alisha Yadav, Sana Prabeen, Riya Sharma, and others. They will receive Rs 20,000 per month.

CAN’s structured contract system ensures financial stability for players. This move is expected to boost Nepal’s cricketing future by motivating players to perform at their best.
