Nepal Announces U19 Squad for ICC U19 World Cup Qualifier

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced Nepal’s U19 squad for the upcoming U19 World Cup Qualifier.

Naren Bhatt has been appointed as the captain, while Abhishek Tiwari will serve as vice-captain. Both players bring experience from the U19 team and provincial cricket.

The squad was finalized after a competitive CAN Youth Cup and an intensive second-phase training camp.

Nepal will host the ICC U19 World Cup Asia Qualifier starting April 12.

The tournament features Afghanistan, UAE, Hong Kong, Oman, and Nepal, with only one team earning a spot in the U19 World Cup.

As part of their preparations, Nepal will play a three-match Youth ODI (YODI) series against Afghanistan before the qualifiers.

The young squad, led by Naren Bhatt, aims to make a strong impact and secure their place in the U19 World Cup.
