Kathmandu: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced its ‘Core Camp’ squad in preparation for the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 series to be held in Scotland in June.
Initially, a preliminary squad of 49 members was announced. However, Naren Bhatta, Yuvraj Khatri, and Santosh Yadav, who were part of the U-19 World Cup qualifiers squad, have also been included, making the total squad size 49.
CAN has divided the selected players into four groups: ‘Nepal Blue’, ‘Nepal Green’, ‘Nepal Red’, and ‘Nepal Yellow’. Practice matches will be played between these four teams.
