Raunak Srivastav Scores Historic Double Century in TB Shah Memorial U-16 One-Day National Cricket Tournament in Surkhet
Raunak Srivastav from Lumbini Province has made history by scoring a double century in the ongoing TB Shah Memorial U-16 One-Day National Cricket Tournament held in Surkhet.
In the match played at Birendranagar Stadium against Gandaki Province, Raunak struck a magnificent 217 runs, including 16 fours and 16 sixes, off just 117 balls.
Raunak’s 217 runs is now the highest individual score in the history of Nepal’s domestic national cricket tournaments. Previously, the highest score was 158 runs made by APF opener Pradeep Airee against Province 2 (Madhesh Province) in the Prime Minister Cup 2018.

Batting first, Lumbini Province posted a massive total of 403 runs for all wickets in 45.4 overs, which is also the highest team total in Nepal’s domestic national cricket history.
Chasing a target of 404 runs, Gandaki Province was bowled out for just 71 runs in 28.2 overs, suffering a defeat by 332 runs. This is the largest margin of defeat by runs in the history of Nepal’s domestic national cricket tournaments.
