32 players called up for the T20 camp, including Adil Alam

13 July 2025

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced a 32-player training camp squad as part of the preparations for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup Asia and East Asia-Pacific Regional Qualifier.

Among the notable inclusions is Mohammad Adil Alam, who has returned to competitive cricket after completing his ban related to spot-fixing allegations during the Nepal T20 League held in December 2022 (Mangsir 2079) at TU Ground. He had been suspended from both domestic and international cricket until the CAN Integrity Committee completed its investigation. After a full review, he was officially cleared to return to cricket from Baisakh 21, 2082 (May 3, 2025).

Another significant name in the squad is Kushal Malla, who was not part of the recent Scotland series squad. His selection in the camp gives him a chance to make a comeback into the national side.
