Nepal A Clinches Thrilling Victory Over Ireland Wolves

In the third and final T20 match against Ireland Wolves, Nepal A secured a consolation victory by defeating Ireland Wolves by a margin of 3 runs at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Chasing Nepal’s target of 214 runs, Ireland managed to score 210 runs, losing 7 wickets within the stipulated 20 overs.

Gareth Delany and Morgan Topping notched up fifties for Ireland, with Delany contributing 68 runs off 37 balls, including 5 fours and 5 sixes, while Topping scored 60 runs off 37 balls, comprising 4 fours and 4 sixes. Delany and Topping formed a formidable 131-run partnership for the fifth wicket.

Opener Ross Adair made a brisk 31 runs off 14 balls, featuring 5 fours and 1 six. Fionn Hand made 22 runs from just 7 balls, featuring 1 four & 2 Six’s.

Bipin Khatri shone for Nepal, claiming 3 wickets (4-1-23-3), while Rashid Khan, Kamal Singh Airee, and Narayan Joshi secured 1 wicket each.

Nepal, batting first after losing the toss, posted a total of 213 runs for the loss of 7 wickets within the allotted 20 overs.

Aarif Sheikh led Nepal’s batting charge with an unbeaten half-century, scoring 93 runs off 48 balls, including 7 fours and 6 sixes. Rashid Khan contributed 24 runs off 13 balls with the aid of 3 sixes, while Basir Ahamad chipped in with 19 runs off 21 balls. Kamal Singh Airee remained unbeaten on 19 runs, striking 2 fours and 1 six in just 7 balls, and Pawan Sarraf added 13 runs in 12 balls.
