The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has appointed Roddy Estwick as the bowling consultant for the Nepali national cricket team.
CAN issued a statement informing about Estwick’s appointment. Hailing from Barbados, Estwick boasts a career spanning 37 First Class and 42 List A matches.
Having previously served as a bowling coach for the West Indies senior team, Estwick brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He held this responsibility with the West Indies on several occasions between 2016 and 2022.
“I am proud to have the opportunity to work with Nepali cricket. Drawing from my experience with the West Indies team, I am committed to contributing as much as I can to the development of Nepali cricket,” said Estwick.
Secretary Paras Khadka expressed confidence in Estwick’s ability to aid the team’s preparation for the World Cup, noting his valuable insights into the game and his dedication to keeping abreast of the situation leading up to the tournament.
