VXL Stars to Compete in Tasmanian Nepalese Premier League Season-1

The VXL Stars, owned by VXL Education Tasmania, are set to participate in the inaugural season of the Tasmanian Nepalese Premier League (TNPL), which kicks off in mid-September. The tournament, featuring a T-20 format, will be held in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

A highlight of the VXL Stars lineup is Amrit Bhattarai, a left-arm pacer who was part of the Nepal cricket team that played in the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. Bhattarai is among the 16 players acquired by the team, with a total purchase budget of $5,000 AUD. The full roster includes:

The VXL Stars are co-sponsored by New Concept Finance. The TNPL will feature two other teams, Grace Dynamos and Intact Titans.

The tournament boasts a substantial cash prize pool, with $3,500 AUD awarded to the winning team. Individual awards include the Golden Bat and Golden Ball, each carrying a prize of $400 AUD, the Man of the Tournament with a prize of $600 AUD, and the Player of the Match for each game, receiving $200 AUD.
