Kathmandu, One of the participating teams in the Nepal Premier League (NPL), has officially announced its team name and logo via social media on Tuesday.
The team’s new name will be Kathmandu Gurkhas.
Kathmandu’s marquee player is national cricket team fast bowler Karan KC. The team is owned by Kantipur Publications Pvt. Ltd.Kathmandu Gurkhas was purchased for NPR 3,33,33,339.
The first edition of the NPL, organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), will feature eight teams and is scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 21, 2024. All eight teams have finalized their marquee players.
