Nepal U19 won the match against UAE in a nail-biting match in the CWC Asia Division 1 Qualifier 2023 to secure a place in the ICC U19 World Cup. Nepal registered a close victory over UAE by 7 runs in Ajman, UAE.
UAE only managed to score 185 runs with all their wickets lost. Ethan Carl D’Souza was the top scorer for UAE, scoring 50 off 66 balls, and Aryan Saxena scored 34 runs in 65 balls.

The table-topper in the tournament, which will continue until March 2, will earn a qualification spot for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup set to take place in Sri Lanka in 2024.
Now Nepal will play the ICC U19 World Cup in Sri Lanka next year, after an 8-year gap.
