Nepal captain Rohit Paudel has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first Nepali cricketer to score two centuries in One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Rohit’s latest hundred came against the UAE in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 match held at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, where he scored 109 runs off 130 balls. This innings marked his second ODI century, following his 126-run knock against Papua New Guinea in 2022 at Kirtipur.

With this achievement, Rohit has also become only the second Nepali batsman—after Paras Khadka—to score an ODI century outside Nepal. Interestingly, both Rohit and Paras reached the landmark at the same venue, the ICCA Ground in Dubai.

Rohit’s innings against the UAE was the ninth ODI century by a Nepali batsman overall and the second ODI hundred against the UAE.
