Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has announced that he won’t be participating in the Asian Games.
This decision comes after the final hearing for the rape case against Sandeep was postponed.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) had initially planned to send Lamichhane to China, but he has expressed that he’s not mentally prepared for the competition. Following Sandeep’s response, the ticket scheduled for Monday has also been canceled.
The rape case against cricketer Sandeep is still pending in the District Court of Kathmandu.
