Malaysia Defeat Nepal by 13 Runs in Third T20I

Nepal Women’s National Cricket Team suffered a defeat in the third T20I of the series against Malaysia.

In the match held at the YSD-UKM Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia defeated Nepal by 13 runs.

Chasing a target of 121 runs, Nepal managed only 107 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Rubi Poddar top-scored with 31 runs, while captain Indu Barma remained unbeaten on 22 runs.

For Malaysia, Nur Dania Syuhada and Aisya Eleesa took 1 wicket each. Notably, six Nepal batters were run out.

Earlier, after winning the toss and batting first, Malaysia posted 120 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Ainna Hamizah scored 61 runs, and Mas Elysa contributed 30.

For Nepal, Kabita Joshi and Kabita Kunwar took 2 wickets each.

Nepal had lost the first match by 3 runs and won the second by 6 wickets. With this result, Malaysia now leads the five-match series 2-1.
