Dhangadhi 17 August – A group of Nepalese residing in Japan, Okinawa Nepal friendship Association, has provided an assistance of NPR 50000 for “Dream Fapla”, a project initiated to build a world-class Fapla International Cricket Stadium in Dhangadhi.
Sanjeev Shrestha, the president of the association, handed over the amount to Subash Shahi, president of the Dream fapla project. Shrestha expressed a great amount of happiness and satisfaction on having contributed whatever they could to build a stadium in Nepal.He further added that since cricket is the sport that has recognized Nepali sports all over the world and also made an appearance in the World Cup as well, everyone should try and help building the infra-structure for the game in the country.
Shahi thanked the association and all its members on making the contribution and said that assistance and encouragements like such are the reasons he and his team feel more motivated to complete the project as early as possible.
