In the ongoing T20 series in Guwahati, India, Nepal ‘A’ registered their second consecutive victory against Assam.
In the third match held on Saturday, Nepal defeated Assam by 9 runs. Chasing a strong target of 197, Assam were bowled out for 187 in 20 overs.
For Assam, Nihar Deka top-scored with 40 runs, captain Sumit Ghadigaonkar added 36, Abdul Qureshi remained unbeaten on 31, while Sahil Jain contributed 24 runs.

Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, Nepal ‘A’ posted 196/6 in 20 overs.
Sundeep Jora played a brilliant innings of 74 runs, while Adil Alam blasted 35 runs off just 14 balls.
For Assam, Akash Sen Gupta took 2 wickets, while Mrinmoy Dutta, Abhinav Choudhary, and Shivashankar Roy claimed one wicket each.
Earlier in the series, Nepal ‘A’ had lost the opening match by 15 runs (DLS method) on Thursday but bounced back strongly with a 96-run victory in the second game.
