In a program organised in Bank’s Central Office premises today, Bank has declared to sponsor promising young-stars Raju Rijal and Prem Tamang and memorandum of understanding of this deal has been signed by two cricketers and the CEO of the bank Mr. Laxman Risal.
This deal was made only possible after the co-ordination between Bank and Cricket Players’ Association Nepal (CPAN). Risal said, “The Bank has taken this initiative with an objective to encourage young cricketers to remain focused and dedicated in their game”. Under this sponsorship players will receive Rs. 20,000 (Twenty thousand only) monthly for two years and necessary kits.
Earlier in the month of July, Sanima Bank had made a similar sponsorship deal with the national team leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane.
