Century from National team player Siddhant Lohani helped Seven Star club Itahari for a winning start in 6th Birendranagar Challenge cup in Pathari Morang.
In the opening game of the tournament, club from Itahari defeated Birtamod Cri
cket club by 102 runs. After getting invited to bat first Seven Star posted 212 runs in 19.3 overs. Lohani’s inning of 127 came in 45 ball and consisted of 12 sixes and 8 fours.
In reply Birtamod could only manage 110 runs in allocated 20 overs. Manoj Mandal picked 3 wickets for Itahari.
