Armed Police Force (APF) secured a win over Tribhuwan Army Club (TAC) for the Gold Medal in 7th National Games from Men’s cricket. APF defets TAC by 49 runs in the final match held at Baijnathpur ground, Biratnagar.
In the another match played between Nepal Police Club (NPC) and Central Development Region, NPC registered a win to get Bronze Medal.
After inviting to bat first by TAC, APF scored 121 runs for 9 wickets in their full quota of 20 overs. In reply, TAC only managed to get all out in 17.4 overs to register 49 runs loss.
Paras Khadka scored 33 runs while Bhuwan Karki managed unbeaten 24 runs and took 4-fors for APF further Shakti Gauchan and Yagyaman Kumal managed two wickets each. Earlier, Sompal Kami, Bikram Sob and Chandra Saud picked up two wickets each for Army.
