Shiva Shakti Cricket Club thrased Buddha Cricket Club by massive 197 runs in the ongoing Division “A” Rupendehi Super League being played at Siddhartha Cricket Stadium, Bhairahawa.
Shiva Shakti won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted 244/8 in the 40 over match and folded Buddha CC’s innings in 18th over for 47 runs thans to an all round performance from Suman Adhikari. Suman scored brisk 33 runs in the first innings and bagged three wickets later to give Shiva Shakti an easy win.
Harischandra Lonani starred with the bat for Shiva Shakti wit 85 runs, while Nikesh Jujali made 31. Subhashankar Tiwari, Sumit GC, Prabin Ansari bagged 2 wickets each for Buddha CC.
Subhashankar Tiwari top scored for Buddha with 17 runs.Former U-19 player Krishna Karki who also represented Kantipur Gurkhas bagged 4 wickets for Shiva Shakti.
