The 24 member preliminary squad for the 5th round of World Cricket League Championship fixture against Kenya has been training regularly at Tribhuwan University Cricket Ground. The team has been putting in incredible amount of hard work to be ready for the African visitors who arrive in 2nd week of march.
For senior players like Gyanendra Malla, Sharad Vesawakar and Sompal Kami its only about sharpening their skills and getting ready for Kenya.
There are others like Mehboob Alam and Aarif Seikh who are trying to impress the coach and selectors for a comeback. Although the comeback story of 35 year all rounder Alam, who has a world record to his name, and that of Aarif would be totally different.
But it the youths that dominate the training camp. With 8 uncapped players in the side, they are toiling with blood and sweat to impress the coach and the captain for that elusive spot on the 14 man squad for Kenya.
And finally there is Sandeep Lamichhane. We got nothing to say about him, we just love him.
