Shanarnagar Cricket Club have been relegated to Division “B” of Rupendehi Super League, after Devdeha handed them their second defeat in a row in the Division “A” League.
In the group A match played at Siddartha Cricket Ground Devdaha won the toss and opted to bat first. Playing their first match of the tournament they posted 189 runs before getting all out in 37.5 overs. In reply Shankarnagar were bundled for 156 runs in 35.4 overs.
Suman Pandey top scored for Devdaha wth 56 runs, Suraj Darai Magar made 41 and Roshan Gautam contributed ith 25 runs. Lucky Pandey bagged 4 wickets for Shankarnagar, Dhiraj Shahi got 2 while, Sunil Poudel and Ishwar Gurung got 1 wicket each.
Ishwor Gurung top scored for Shankarnagar wit 31 runs. Dhiraj Shahi made 23 and Biyu Neupane remained not out on 23 runs. Kirtiman Dhakal got 3 scalps for Devdaha. Sargam Chaudhary, Roshan Gautam and Puran Thapa each bagged 2 wickets for Devdaha to help them to an important win.
