Veswakar,Malla and Airee guides Nepal towards their first win.

Nepal defeated Hong Kong by 7 wickets to register their first win in ACC Emerging Asia Cup being held in Bangladesh.
Winning the toss and deciding to bowl first, Nepal restricted Hong Kong to 214 for the loss of all wickets in 50 overs.To restrict Hong Kong to this total Avinas Karn chipped in with 3 wickets whereas Gyanendra Malla , Sushan Bhari and Bhuvan Karki bagged 2 wickets each. For Hong Kong Opener Anshuman Rath and Cameron McAuslan scored 43 and 51 runs respectively.
In reply Nepal managed 220 runs with the loss of 3 wickets in just 44.2 overs. Although it turned into a convincing win at the end, Thanks to wonderful innings from Gyanendra Malla who scored 70 runs in 82 balls and a brilliant partnership between Sarad Veswakar and Dipendra Singh Airee in the middle to finish off the game. Sarad scored 55 runs of just 51 balls which included 3 fours and 3 sixes whereas Dipendra Singh Airee scored 60 of 83 balls with the help of 5 four and 1 six.
Gyanendra Malla was awarded man of the match for his brilliant contribution with both bat and ball.
Nepal end their tournament with 1 win and 2 loss from 3 matches.
