The hearing in the court against Sandeep Lamichhane has been postponed today, paving the way for the Nepali cricketer to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup cricket tournament.
Sandeep Lamichhane will depart for Pakistan on Qatar Airways on Monday at 11:30 AM.
The court has fixed the next hearing on September 7. The Asia Cup is starting from August 30. Nepal’s first match is against Pakistan on August 30 and second match is against India on September 4. Sandeep will play these two matches before attending the next hearing. His flight schedule will be determined after coordination with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), said his lawyer Saroj krishna Ghimire.
If Nepal has a chance to reach the next stage of the tournament, Sandeep will have to return to Nepal and then travel back to Pakistan.
