In two group D matches, NSJF and Kantipur both defeated Facts Nepal to reach the knock-out stage. Half centurian from the previous day Roshan Shrestha once again led his team Kantipur to a comfortable victory by 31 runs to ensure them a top-place finish in the group. His 47 off 38 balls along with Sandesh Katwal’s 46 off 28 balls meant Kantipur scored a mammoth 107 in their allotted 12 overs. In the other match, an all-round performance by Subas umagain helped his team NSJF bounce back from earlier day defeat and thrash Facts Nepal to reach the Quater Finals. Facts Nepal were all out for 36 runs as Humagain bowled a brilliant spell of 3-11. He also top-scored with 11* iduring an easy chase of the target in 6 overs.

Likewise, Yeti Airlines beat Bottlers Nepal to finish top in the group A and reach the final 8. Rabi Sharma and Prafulla Baidya too 2 wickets a piece to dismiss Bottlers Nepal for mere 60 runs. Chasing a below-par target, Yeti were aggressive  in their approach and completed the chase in 6 and half overs at the loss of a single wicket with Sandip Shrestha smashing a 26-ball 45.

Elsewhere, Sipradi Trading and F1 Soft make winning starts to their campaigns in Group B and C respectively. An all round performance from Shewant Jung Sijapati made sure Sipradi beat Premier Insurance by 50 runs. He scored 38 runs  to help his side post a huge  110 runs on the board batting first and picked up 2 wickets to dismiss Premier Insurance for 60 runs.  In a more closer match, F1 Soft drfeated Gorkha Brewery by 4 wickets to make a winning start to their tournament. A brilliant 4-wicket spell by Prayas Bista meant Brewery could manage a modest 73 batting first. F1 soft, helped by a handy 23 by opener Rabindra Gautam, chased the target with 11 balls to spare

A serious guy who makes silly points. Also a cricket tragic whose only on-field achievement is witnessing 6 runs as byes in a single ball.
