Former India captain Ajay Jadeja will be a part of the Wai Wai Everest Premier League as he is announced as the chief guest by the organizers Zohra Sports Managements (ZSM) in a press meet organized today in Kathmandu.
Amir Akhtar knows Ajay Jadeja since his college and school days.They were in the same institution during their studies in India and that has helped Akhtar in calling Jadeja for the visit. During his stay, Jadeja will
involve in a media interaction on October 2nd, the off day before the final. He is also scheduled to play in the Gokarna Golf Resorts.
Jadeja will be on a three-day visit to Nepal starting October. Jadeja will thus be making his first appearance in a domestic tournament of an associate nation.
Jadeja is the second former India player to be invited as a Chief Guest in last 3 years in a tournament held in Nepal. In December 2013, VVS Laxman was the Chief guest of the Journey to the World Cup, a tournament organized right after Nepal qualified for the World T20.
