Rupandehi Challengers defeated Kathmandu Goldens by 15 runs to register their 3rd win in a row. Winning the toss and elected to bat first Rupandehi posted 135 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Nurdhoj Sen top scored for Rupandehi with 37 runs while Puspa Thapa contributed with 26 runs. For Kathmandu Goldens Sompal Kami chipped in with 4 wickets while Manjeet Shrestha , Basant Regmi and Santosh Bhatta bagged up 1 wickets each. In reply Kathmandu Goldens was restricted to 120 runs with the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Sumit Maharjan top scored for Kathmandu with 27 runs while Subendhu Pandey and Rohit Kumar Poudel contributed 20 runs each. To restrict Kathmandu Goldens to 120 runs Shakti Gauchan picked up 3 wickets while Bikram Sob and Krishna Karki bagged up 2 wickets each. Puspa Thapa and Shahab Alam also chipped in with 1 wicket each for Rupandehi. Puspa Thapa was declared the player of the match for his brilliant all round performance.
In second match of the day CYC Attariya defeated Dhangadi Team Chauraha by 40runs. Winning the toss and deciding to bat first proved out to be right decision for Attariya as they made 142 runs on the board for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. For Attariya Rohan Nepali scored 32 runs while Yogendra Singh Karki made 27 runs in 11 balls with the help of 6 Fours. Dhangadi Team Chauraha managed to pick up only 4 wickets which include 2 wickets from Saurab Khanal whereas Aarif Sheikh and Sushan Bhari picking up 1 wicket each. Coming down to chase Dhangadi managed just 102 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Only 3 batsman managed to cross the double figures which include 19 runs from Anil Mandal, 23 runs from Saurab Khanal and 39 runs from Ram Naresh Giri . For CYC Attariya Mehaboob Alam and Chandra Sawad picked up 3 wickets each while Binod Lama bagged up 2 wickets. Mehaboob Alam was declared man of the match for his brilliant performance with the ball.
